English by birth Martyn Wyndham-Read first developed his great love of Folk Music in the Outback of Australia when he went to work on a sheep station. He gained first-hand experience of life as a bush worker, at the same time falling in love with Australia & it’s music. After 7 yrs. down under he returned home to England where his dedication to the songs he sings has not diminished over the yrs. Concert tours spreading his style of music to the far corners of the world became his way of life. His music encompasses both traditional & contemporary music much of it Australian.
