Merry is a psychedelic folk singer and performer. She has toured extensively in Europe and USA, played on Glastonbury’s Avalon stage and has written and recorded with the late Malcolm McClaren and more recently with Martin ‘Youth’ Glover on her debut album ‘The False Bride’ released on Suriya Recordings. Her songs have been played on BBC Radio and her new album, again produced by Youth, is due out this Autumn. Merry’s soaring voice is often compared to Grace Slick, Annie Haslam from Renaissance and the great Sandy Denny. International Times called her album ‘a breath of fresh air’. Her stunning stage performances are accompanied by psych legend Bruce Welch on guitar, who has worked with Hawkwind, Sally Oldfield and Bert Jansch among many others.
