Cellist, singer and songwriter Midori Jaeger has paved her own intricate and intriguing soundworld with pizzicato cello riffs and serene vocals gliding through warm, groove-led songs. After taking a degree in classical cello at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Midori has performed and recorded with Ex:Re, Jocelyn Pook, Joseph Lawrence & the Garden, Seven Eyes, DEACON and Heather Nova. Now as an artist in her own right, Midori announces her Green Note debut with full band for the launch of her first EP look at us. Her debut single Breeze alone caught the attention of Mahogany, Somewhere Soul and BBC 6 Fresh on the Net and her first ever full band gig will bring the EP to life in its freshest form.
