Miriam Donohue

Miriam Donohue is a gifted songwriter, musician and storyteller, originally from Galway but now based in Dublin. Subtle melodic turns, assured velvetine vocals and Miriam’s ability to write quirky, catchy folk tunes make for an enchanting live performance. Her talents have been compared to Suzanne Vega, Laura Marling and Ingrid Michaelson, but she has a sublime voice all of her own.
Miriam Donohue has supported acts such as Martha Wainwright, Mark Geary, John Spillane, Jack L and Nina Persson (The Cardigans). She released her debut album ‘Paperscapes’ at the end of last year and in recognition of her talents has been selected by Irish music magazine Hot Press as one of the top up-and- coming Irish artists in 2017 and nominated for Best Female Vocalist in the Pure M Awards.
