Ruth Morris
Ruth Morris is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, specialising in nyckelharpa, fiddle, whistle and piano. Based in Scotland, she currently plays with Gavin Marwick’s Journeyman Project, Bellevue Rendezvous, The Galloway Agreement string quintet, and The Firelight Trio (with Phil Alexander). Most recent work includes being an on-set musician on HBO series ‘Outlander’, and playing nyckelharpa on the soundtrack of the Netflix film ‘Outlaw King’. She will be focusing on Scottish tunes on the nyckelharpa for this workshop at Halsway.
