Australian duo Sadie & Jay write exquisitely crafted original songs with origins in the Anglo-Celtic tradition travelling through contemporary Australian folk and roots. They perform beautiful songs with exceptional vocals and harmonies playing intricate finger style guitar and double bass.
2020 sees their most extensive tour yet as they present songs from their third album “A Passing of Seasons“, which is rich in Australian history ,bursting with colour and spirited characters! They love to play to an intimate crowd where stories can best be told...some songs invite a crowd chorus,others draw intense listening or giggles!
Sadie & Jay have received international recognition for their songwriting. Several songs from their 3 albums have been finalists in The Australian Songwriters Association Awards {ASA}.Two songs from their latest album were placed fourth and fifth in the folk and acoustic catagory in the 2019 ASAs. They are multiple first place winners and finalists in Australian and international awards platforms.
