Somethingski
SOMETHINGSKI is a solo project of the singer, composer and
multi-instrumentalist Nikodem Soszyński, known from the
Freeborn Brothers, with whom he played hundreds if not
thousands of shows in many places in Europe and around the
world. He has also performed with bands such as the Jet-sons and Cyrk Deriglasoff. Somethingski started to tour and play shows in 2022 full time, doing full length European tour in March and April 2022 in countries like Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg or France and single shows in Poland and Slovakia.
In 2020, he recorded his first album called THINGS, and in the
beginning of 2021 the album was released. Within a week, the
song from this release - “Na Dolinach“ reached the first place in
the Podkarpacie List of Hits. Sound of Somethingski is blend of
folk, world music and punk rock polka. Although Nikodem says that he is mainly a drummer, this album shows versatility, talent and a great love for music and the world.
The world has been his greatest muse for years, and the
experience and memories gathered over the years allow him to
create constantly. Live performances are a trio featuring banjo, drums, double bass and violin.
