Spark Trio approaches the classic organ/guitar/drums format with a contemporary outlook. They perform original compositions and creative arrangements of standards, in which modern jazz sounds merge with touches of Gospel, the blues, and the classic organ trio style. The trio features distinguished pianist and keyboardist Paul Harrison (Sugarwork, Herschel 36, Breach), Young Scottish Jazz Musician 2018, Joe Williamson on guitar (Animal Society, Square One), and Stephen Henderson on drums (Square One, Fergus McCreadie Trio)
