Vocals, accordion, piano, sousaphone, tuba, bass trombone, borrowed beer bottles, violin, viola and exotic percussion are all on the menu. Playing mainly original songs, the band has been influenced by a range of styles from New Orleans jazz and ragtime via English sea shanties to Eastern European klezmer.
The resulting show (in outfits that may have been fashionable in the 1890s) is full of theatrical antics, and has entertained audiences at festivals from Caversham to Gothenburg.
