The Woolverstones
Formed in late 2019, alternative folk duo The Woolverstones have swiftly made a name for themselves on the international folk circuit with their cinematic songwriting and rich vocal harmonies. Their debut single, “A Song for Harlequins“, was hailed as a “Folk Masterpiece” by Laurel Canyon Radio and earned fans from both sides of the Atlantic—including members of The Byrds and Country Joe & the Fish.
Produced by the legendary John Wood (Nick Drake, Pentangle), their acclaimed debut album Grey Eyed Dandy (2022) featured on BBC Introducing and Fruits de Mer Records’ In The Year 2025 compilation. With appearances at the Cambridge Folk Festival, international tours across Europe, and support slots for folk greats like Malcolm Le Maistre and Leo O’Kelly, The Woolverstones are a rising force in modern folk.
