Tim De Graaw is a blues, soul and rock-influenced singer-songwriter. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and grew up in Surrey, the UK where he first discovered his passion for blues rock music.

He picked up the guitar at the age of twelve and started performing in local bars at the age of sixteen. After finishing school Tim moved to the United States to study at Berklee College of Music in Boston. After leaving music college he moved to both LA/Nashville for a year where he worked as both a session musician and songwriter, it was that time in the States where he found major sync success and developed his own artistry.

He has previously worked with songwriters and friends such as Sarah Walk, Jamie Evans, Don Mescall, Pam Sheyne and Rich Jacques. Tim moved back to London. He recorded his debut EP ‘Three Black Roses’ (2017) together with producer, Jamie Evans. His poetic lyrics are both honest and personal, conveying the perils of love and struggles in life.

Recently Tim has traveled to Nashville to work with his friends and publishing houses (Sony/ATV), he also recorded at the renowned ‘Sound Emporium Studios’. Tim is a resident performer at ´The Hard Rock Cafe´ London´s intimate venue ´The Backroom Bar´ in Mayfair. As an independent artist, he´s been self-releasing his music and aims to help keep live music alive.
