Uzizi
Uzizi (pronounced you-zee-zee) is an all-original world folk/rock group from Cleveland, Ohio. Uzizi finds it´s inspiration in the beats and melodies from Ireland to Bulgaria, from the Appalachian Mountains to the Middle East, and back around again. They sometimes incorporates an early form of American music called sacred harp, or shape-note singing into some of it´s repertoire. Sacred Harp´s earliest roots are traced back to the country parish music of early 18th century England.
