Wild Words
Wild Words was founded in 2008 by storytellers Jane Flood, Michael Loader, Martin Maudsley and musician Fiona Barrow. The group came together during the early days of the Bristol Storytelling Festival and a new adult season at the Brewhouse in Taunton.
From 2008/ 2010 Wild Words were in residence at the Brewhouse offering over 10 shows, eg Celtic, Tales, Norse Myths and Green and Pleasant Land (stories from England). In 2011 they began their residency at St George’s in Bristol.
Wild Words is now a pool of fine storytellers creating original work inspired by the storytelling tradition and first class musicians drawing their repertoire from classical to klezmer, alongside a splash of theatre and puppetry.
