Artist description:The Salts are one of the most exciting and energetic concept bands around, performing original material alongside their own interpretations of traditional songs. The band feature five seasoned musicians collectively performing a mixture of instruments as well as great harmonies, all guaranteed to get the crowd singing and dancing along. This autumn, The Salts are on The Trafalgar Way, which marks the journey in 1805 of the Naval messenger from his ship HMS Pickle docked at Falmouth to the Admiralty in London. The news he carried was victory at the Battle of Trafalgar and the death of Lord Nelson. Lieutenant Lapenotiere´s 271 mile route is marked with plaques along the Way. The Salts are playing gigs along the route with a finale “Pickle Night“ celebratory concert in London close to Trafalgar Square and The Admiralty. New CD “Live in London Town” available at gigs and from www.thesalts.co.uk
