London venue Balabam will be holding their closing party on 26th and 27th July

Balabam was born in May 2017 out of a desire to create a community-focused live music and arts venue in the heart of Tottenham. Driven by a passion for live music, performance and art, Balabam’s founders wanted to create an events space that was more than just a bar. At a time when venues all over London were shutting their doors, it seemed more important than ever to open a place that anyone could call home.

Very sadly, they are now having to close down, with this message:

"With heavy hearts we must announce that our journey has come to an end. Balabam is officially closing down. We´ve had 2 beautiful years of sharing music, making new friends and opening our space to a world of creativity and art, but unfortunately due to high costs and low turn outs we will be permanently closing our doors. We would like to thank everyone for being part of our little family. All the musicians, bands, acts, storytellers, sound & light engineers, staff, those who worked with us and all of you people who supported the space by showing your beautiful faces!!

We want say thank you by hosting a weekend of music and dance on the 26th and 27th of July, where we can enjoy the space and each other one last time.
