Flora Curzon and Francesca Ter-Berg
London based violinist Flora Curzon is best known for her musical versatility. Whilst her first love is playing music from the classical and baroque eras, she is well versed in many styles of folk music and improvisation and has a keen interest in contemporary musical collaborations. Her unique combination musical passions and skills have sparked an exciting career: her fast growing and eclectic resumé of worldwide performances and recordings includes collaborations with Sam Lee, Talvin Singh, gypsy-jazz band Dunajska Kapelye, the Brodsky Quartet and the London Chamber Collective, and orchestras, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Faust Ensemble, English Symphony Orchestra and the London Sinfonietta. She has also collaborated with various theatre and dance companies including Deafinitely Theatre and Bricolage. Her own projects, Gaia Duo and Curzon and Ter-Berg give her the freedom to combine her interests and explore her own ideas and creativity. She has recently taken on the role of co-Music Director at the New Unity Church in Newington Green where she runs a monthly acoustic concert series.
