Northern Resonance is the Scandinavian string trio that takes newly composed folk music into a new soundscape. With their previously untested combination of instruments; viola d’amore, hardanger fiddle and nyckelharpa they let Scandinavian music meet explosive rhythms and grand chamber-like arrangements that takes folk music in a new direction

William Jack is a multi-style cellist, guitarist and songwriter from South Australia. He is best known for incorporating his jazz guitar background into an unconventional style of cello playing, with a passion for breaking boundaries between genres and cultures. His music transitions seamlessly from virtuosic folk/bluegrass compositions to non-Western sound worlds.
