Here at F&H, we´ve been getting a bit excited about the new London based dream-folk band Something Sleeps, featuring the songwriters Fiona Fey and Rey Yusuf, both formerly of the award winning Tell Tale Tusk.

Known for their vocal harmonies and emotionally provocative lyrics, their songs intricately flow between three part harmony and soulful string arrangements, tastefully created by Monica Viñoly (Violin) and Josh Considine (Cello).

Their debut single "Fishes" is about the wriggly feeling of anxiety - but countering the feeling of being underwater, the soothing sound the band have created with the blend of harmonies and sweeping strings is dreamy and uplifting.

Fishes is out on 14th June on Cuculi records
