New Routes is regular night at Cambridge Junction presenting Acoustic, Folk and Roots artists. Held in J3, our 100 capacity room - it is set out cabaret style with candles on tables, creating a comfortable and intimate space to listen to the best emerging and established artists from the area.
Each gig presents one or two booked acts plus three Floor Spots - a Floor Spot being a shorter slot given to an individual, duo or group to perform before the main guests appear on stage. It´s a great opportunity for musicians and singers, who are new to performing in public, to have an opportunity to perform before a sympathetic and listening audience. It´s also a great way for potential artists to introduce themselves to the local scene.
