We aim to bring you quality original music acts every month, so good that you’ll want to keep it your yourself! Based at The Queen´s Head, Box.
Schtumm.... is a high profile gig that welcomes new, original music and actively promotes upcoming musicians and seasoned performers. One, two or three acts play in our outdoor arena, or our spacious marquee outside The Queen´s Head in the summer and in the Long Room at the back of the pub in the colder months. The event is live streamed with 6 cameras and broadcast on Facebook Live / You Tube at the artist´s discretion. This is no ordinary pub gig, the Schtumm audience listens in a superb environment with all attention on the music. Tickets must be purchased in advance via the artist or our EventBrite listing to enable the performance to go ahead. Ticket prices vary depending on artists and 100% of the proceeds are divided between the performers. The Schtumm.... team works voluntarily and the venue makes what it can from drink sales to cover the running costs. The gigs can be evening or afternoon performances and normally each act plays a 45 minute to 1 hour set or does a whole evening to themselves.
