Fabulous Nicaraguan guitarist and composer, Omar Rios has been dazzling London audiences, since arriving in London four years ago. He has taken his music to Colombia and the Caribbean, to Russia, Europe and the US. Omar has performed at the Union Chapel, the Jazz Cafe and many more highly regarded venues and has collaborated with such musicians as Mayito Rivera (Los Van Van), Jorgito Kamankola (Cuba), Emilio Oviedo (Spain), David Pabon (Puerto Rico), The Flight Behaviour (USA) and with pianist Alex Wilson (UK/Switzerland). He studied Music Education at Upoli, Nicaragua.
