Lansdown Hall & Gallery
Lansdown Hall and Gallery is owned by Stroud Town Council and run by an entirely separate charity for the benefit of the community. Many of the people working at the hall and gallery are volunteers, and the venue operates on a not for profit basis. Money that comes in from hiring the hall or gallery is used to pay for the running of these spaces, for the provision of skilled technical staff at events, and the ongoing maintenance of the venue. Every effort is made to keep the building as affordable for hirers as possible.
The aim of the charity is the provision of hall and gallery space for community use for exhibitions, performances, workshops, film screenings and private functions.
