St James´ Church Islington
St James’ is a versatile space. While it is, first and foremost, a Church it can now be hired for a range of other uses.
Recently the Church has been used for concerts of all genres, a documentary film screening, several weeks of rehearsals by an opera company, community meetings, professional and amateur recordings, end of year performances by local music schools and any number rehearsals by choirs, string ensembles and individuals. There is a fine Bechstein grand piano which is regularly tuned and maintained. St James’ is the home of the Islington Proms.
Booking through the Parish Office is easy and responses are usually the same day. There are good facilities for serving refreshments and modern toilet facilities.
