The Hanwell Cavern
Located in the basement of Hanwell Community Centre, The Hanwell Cavern has been created out of a need to “transform our space” within Hanwell Community Centre and build upon the enormous music heritage of this Grade II listed building, whilst also increasing visitor footfall at the Centre. Bands and musicians that played gigs or rehearsed at Hanwell Community Centre in the past include The Who, Deep Purple, Procul Harum, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, Gene Vincent, The Animals, Jerry Lee Lewis, and many others who have brought much pleasure and entertainment to the community. The revival of live music events in The Hanwell Cavern is intended to engage our community further with its music, history, and architectural and social heritage.
