Our venue is a place for artists to showcase their talent and art, to develop & hone the craft of live performance and to take creative risks. This is what makes The Sound Lounge a really exciting room to be in during a live gig.
We know from personal experience, but also from widely cited research, that being at a live performance has direct health benefits. It releases dopamine and oxytocin and reduces cortisol. It also makes you feel connected to something much bigger in a way that doesn´t require a common language, class or cultural background. It unites us, makes us resilient, connects us to what it is to be human and excites us into innovation.
