The Wanstead Tap is fast gaining a reputation for hosting and promoting innovative and fascinating evening events.
With a seating capacity for 65 people we are the perfect venue for book readings and launches, film screenings, comedy evenings and gigs.
We promote our own events as well as take outside promoters who are looking to use our space and of course one of the best stocked beer bars in London.
Artists and authors who have appearred at the Tap include John Hegley, Michael Rosen, Julie Christie, Alexei Sayle, Sid Griffin, Martin Carthy, Peggy Seeger, Viv Albertine and Alasdair Roberts.
