Cellar Upstairs folk club: Ken Wilson

Ken Wilson, from Teesside, sang with his siblings in the Wilson Family for many years, appearing with them at folk clubs and festivals throughout Britain and Europe, as well as performing at the Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms, making several albums and performing with Sting on the project The Last Ship, which took them to New York to launch the CD and perform the show. The Cellar is London’s longest-running folk club; it’s a weekly, non-profit club, run on a voluntary basis, now meeting on Monday nights. We have professional guests every week, supported by resident singers and musicians, and performers from the floor.
