Róisín McNeill EP Launch at Green Note with support from Tom Cole

Singer-songwriter Róisín McNeill comes from a rich tradition of storytelling and roots-inspired songwriting. Previously featured in Under The Apple Tree sessions with Bob Harris, and on BBC Radio 2’s Dermot O’Leary Show, her songs are tender, quietly powerful, and steeped in Americana influences. Inspired by artists such as Iris DeMent, Jason Isbell and Lori McKenna, this show marks the release of her first EP, “Nothing Else Matters“.
With support from Tom Cole - Steeped in the traditions of American folk, country, gospel and blues, Tom´s is an Americana style of Alt Country meets Greenwich Village Folk Revival. Hailing from Hastings on the South Coast of England, Tom crafts heartfelt songs from everyday life, with a softly understated vocal style underpinned by a mix of Merle Travis style fingerpicking and country flatpicking.
Doors open 7pm, Music starts 8.30pm.
