Sonny Brazil

Sonny has already been to Dulwich Folk with the Goblin Band in January and his return as a solo performer is keenly anticipated. An outstanding box player and singer, he is a testament to the truth that if you pick your songs well and if you sing them with passion and commitment traditional song can continue to speak to us; that the dangers, beliefs, hardships and love they describe have a continuing relevance. Sonny is influenced by, is a successor to, and builds on the legacy of Peter Bellamy, Martin Carthy and Nic Jones (among others!) .
