Originally from a classical background, Ally Forsyth has now blurred the lines to create an unusual folk, blues and rock style, with find songs and tunes rooted in folk music; some could almost pass as traditional – eg, The Drovers´ Road from Logie;. He has studied at Scotland’s National Centre of Excellence in Traditional Music, played at the Albert Hall, collaborated with many popular traditional Scottish musicians, including Anna Massie and Josie Duncan, and been nominated for a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award; www.allyforsyth.com
