“Moody Will & The Roll are based around the duo of the same name that is Simon Campbell and Will Hardiman. They are releasing their first EP ‘Alison’s Farm’ on Saturday 10 December 16 at The Arts House, Stokes Croft, Bristol.
The EP contains four tracks, which show off extremely well what they do. Their genre is Country Blues and the music is guaranteed to get up and wiggling! Not only that, the songs are very catchy and have been well written and recorded. The guys are impressing audiences wherever they play and it is not hard to see why when you listen to this EP.
The title track ‘Alison’s Farm’ is very much ‘Rock a Billy’ in rhythm and is a first-class feel good song, indeed all of the songs have their own charm and are all good to listen to and have great lyrics. Track four is a cracker with hints of the great David Gates (Bread).
This CD is a must for the old Christmas stocking, it has top quality songs performed by top quality musicians and has nothing to dislike.
