Hailing from the East Anglian and Welsh wildlands, Wise Woman have roared onto the scene with their heady collision of lush vocal harmonies, tall tales and 90s girl power.

Formed in the darkness of a pandemic winter, the band forged a sound built on a decade-long musical friendship, alongside years of individual collaborations with artists as varied as Anna Meredith, Mediaeval Baebes, the LSO, and starring roles in West End musicals. The result is a striking brand of string-infused, cinematic power folk that’s been enchanting headline slots at UK folk institutions including Green Note and Folkroom.

Their debut EP, Thread, will be released on the 28th November.
