Lowther’s Folk, Roots & Maritime Festival!

The Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens is proud to announce the Folk, Roots & Maritime Festival, coming up on 27th and 28th July
This festival is the newest addition to the Lowther Pavilion Theatre & Gardens annual festival calendar, following the successful seasonal run of Lowther’s Folk Club. It celebrates the maritime heritage of the Fylde Coast, where local shanty groups keep the region´s seaside and fishing traditions vibrant and alive.
The Folk, Roots & Maritime Festival is a passion project for Lowther, aiming to provide a platform for touring folk musicians and storytellers to showcase their craft and the rich heritage that inspires them. By offering a free to enter festival for the public to access all acts, Lowther hopes to inspire both seasoned enthusiasts and the new generation in celebrating the diverse forms of folk and maritime music.
July 27th and 28th, 11am – 9pm.
