The Salts under Trafalgar Square !

“Pickle Night” 6th November is the date when news of the victory at the Battle of Trafalgar and the death of Lord Nelson arrived in London
To commemorate the event this year, The Salts will be performing in The Crypt under Trafalgar Square on Wednesday 6th November.
Last year, The Salts played a number of concerts along the Trafalgar Way. The Trafalgar Way was the 271 mile route taken to get the message of Nelson’s death back to the Admiralty in London. Starting from Falmouth where HMS Pickle docked.
The Salts are one of the most exciting and energetic concept bands around, performing original material alongside their own interpretations of traditional songs. The band feature five seasoned musicians collectively performing a mixture of instruments as well as great harmonies, all guaranteed to get the crowd singing and dancing along.
The iconic vaulted Crypt beneath St Martin’s in-the-fields on Trafalgar Square is transformed into an atmospheric music and cabaret venue, with a fully-stocked bar and great food options.
So, don your straw boater hat and hooped shirt, “Splice the mainbrace” raise a toast to Lord Horatio Nelson’s immortal memory!
Remember, remember the 6th of November
Nelson : Victory and shot
I see no reason why Pickle Night season
Should ever be forgot
